About Us
A small group of Nordic Tug owners located on the Great Lakes met in Traverse City in 2006 for an informal get together and from this, the Great Lakes Area Nordic Tug Owners Association (GLANTOA) was formed. The idea behind the formation of the association was to foster a continued open forum of ideas, cruising information, technical advice, factory information and social events. Activities to date have been primarily associated with the annual Rendezvous which were held in:

The first version of the website was published in 2008 and has now been taken over by the GLANTOA membership and re-published in its current form. The goal of the new site is to provide a resource for GLANTOA owners to enrich their ownership, cruising, and social experiences.
